Classic Motoring was formed by Simon Denman and wife Ashleigh to allow people to experience the pleasure of classic open-top motoring in the Jaguar E Type without the ongoing costs and demands of ownership.

Most people have memories of the Jaguar E Type going back to their youth and for Simon, the first was seeing the car in front of the local sweet shop as a child. So impressed was he by the beauty of the E Type that he decided then and there to buy one himself. Being six at the time, he opted for the Scalextric model in British Racing Green.

Later on, as a fully-grown petrolhead, this enthusiasm for classic cars was to continue and Simon owned and maintained a number of classic cars as a hobby. This hobby not only allowed him to source fine examples of the Jaguar E Type, but enables the ongoing assessment of work to be carried out to keep these cars in excellent condition. For our maintenance we have a longstanding relationship with a local garage, who have extensive experience of the Jaguar E Type.

Simon and Ashleigh moved to the Cotswolds in the early nineties and fell in love with the area, with its picturesque network of B-roads and country lanes that link the characteristic lime stone villages. For the most part, these roads have changed little from the days when the Jaguar E Type was launched, and driving for pleasure here remains a relaxing and evocative hobby for them.
