Classic Car Hire Terms


Drivers must be between 25 and 75. They must have held a full licence for 2 years, had no more than one accident whilst driving over the last three years, and not had insurance refused, declined or cancelled. Certain endorsements or medical conditions may not be accepted, please enquire when booking.

You will need to provide driving licences (both parts) for each driver, your passport and a recent utility bill when you collect the car. We can not release the vehicle until we have seen the originals of these documents. In addition, you must consent to be photographed with the hire vehicle at the start of hire. Driving licences and payment cards must be registered with the correct address details.

On June 8th 2015, the DVLA are scrapping the driving licence counterpart and driver details will now only be viewable online. For hires after June 8th 2015, UK driving licence holders will need to provide their National Insurance number to allow confirmation of driving history.

Security Deposit

You must supply a credit card when collecting the vehicle on which the security deposit, shown on the price list, will be pre-authorised. This will only be processed if loss or damage occurs.


The cars are supplied with fully comprehensive insurance for business, social, domestic and pleasure purposes. They may not be used for hire, driving tuition, or any form of motor sport or track days. The cars may not be taken out of Great Britain. Only named drivers are insured. If you invalidate our insurance policy by failing to disclose a relevant fact or otherwise violating the policy terms, you agree to indemnify us for any loss not covered as a result.

Booking and Cancellation

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable on booking. For cancellations within 30 days of the hire, you are liable for the full hire charge unless we re-let the car. Hire is subject to availability.

Gift Vouchers

Changes to bookings made by redeeming gift vouchers are not permitted within 30 days of the hire. Exceptions to this are at our discretion and only in exceptional circumstances.

Additional Charges

You are responsible for costs arising from traffic violations and charges, refuelling, and late return of the car.


Our liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge. No consequential loss liability will be covered.
